Noy's Miniatures 1/72 Soviet Fighter Hangar Set

Apparently Noy's Miniatures' earlier US style hangar set went over well and I suggested one for the 'other' side. So here we have one from the Soviet era. This particular one is in 1/72 scale, though he also provides these in 1/144, 1/48 and even 1/32 scale. Here are the specs on the 1/72 set.

Item No. 7228 "Soviet Fighter Hangar Set": Three 1/72 sheets as follows:

Floor: Length: 31.0 cm / 12.2 inch; Width: 21.9 cm / 8.6 inch;

Rectangle Wall: Length: 31.0 cm / 12.2 inch; Width: 21.9 cm / 8.6 inch;

Square Wall: Length: 21.9 cm / 8.6 inch; Width: 21.9 cm / 8.6 inch.

Quality printed on cardstock.

I am just as impressed with the quality of the printing on this set as I was on the previous one. It is easy to set up with just a bit of tape to hold the bits together. Looking through my 1/72 Soviet/Russian aircraft builds, I was a bit embarrased to find that out of literally dozens of MiGs and Yaks, only one was in Soviet/Russian markings. So I decided to really stretch the set by displaying it with a Fencer model. This is a very large aircraft, but even then it fit within the confines of the set.

These are a great idea and I do hope that Noy decides to do more. They are a superb way to show off your model either at home or as a setting in a show.
