NOTES:

Available in all major scales

The Scale card is one of those things that you didn't know you needed until you get one and start using it. It really is an amazing item that you'll really find handy if you are one who scratchbuilds or modifies their models.

These come in a wide variety of scales; the two reviewed here are in 1/35 and 1/72 scale. As you can see by the 1/72 scale card, there is more info available on it; specifically the ability to measure circles with a bit more ease that with the larger scale card that doesn't have the room for it.

As you can see, there are a variety of figures on the card that will allow for more exact measurement of items and those figures that come with various kits. If you are really into scratchbuilding, then these will be extremely handy to determine the size of openings and other parts of your project. What's more they easily fit into a shirt pocket. The cards on the screen (assuming you are at the proper setting) are nearly life size, so you can see how handy they are. If nothing else, they can be used to help determine the accuracy of your current project and to assist in placing parts on short run kits where the actual placement of parts is often a bit fuzzy!

Thanks to The Scale Card for the review samples. You can get these at your favorite hobby shop (such as CRM Hobbies) or on-line.
