NOTES:

Cats reporting on the news that matters to cats

One thing I discovered on the 'net are cartoons. There are a huge number of them and many of them can be found no where else. Some are updated daily, others several specific days a week and others have a more relaxed schedule. A strip that I found a year or so ago was Breaking Cat News.

The strip is written by Georgia Dunn, whom, unlike many cartoonists, actually responds to posts by readers. She and her husband are owned by three shelter cats, one of which is missing a rear leg. These three cats feature prominently in the strip and each has his own distinct personality. The humans in the strip are 'the people' and are really just secondary to most of the adventures. The headlines include 'The house is under attack by a mysterious red dot", "There is a moth outside the window', 'The woman has a frosted cupcake. We now go live to the scene', The trees are falling apart', and 'A june bug got into the house', just to name a few.

This is a compilation of the first several dozen strips and thanks to the print media, you don't need a computer to read it. If you are owned by cats, you will recognize pretty much all of the various 'news' stories. It is a great book and while not exactly the normal fare of MM, I have enjoyed it so much that I had to share it with you. I think you'll like it.

If you are interested in a copy, a google will get you a number of outlets. I got mine via Amazon. Here is a sample story.
