Notes: CD-ROM, Catalogue # 1046

This latest CD from Aero Research continues with their fine series on the McDonnell/Douglas F-4 Phantom II. It includes images from pretty much every unit that flew the plane, both USN and USMC. They are also in every camouflage scheme worn by it, including some special schemes. Pretty much every unit from NADC to VX-4 is included with at least one image and in some cases many more that show the differences in marking and camouflage schemes carried by the F-4 in its decades of service.

You get the usual ramp shots with the vast majority of them crisp and clear. There are also some nicely done air to air images; more than I've seen in most of these photo compilations.

There are 180 images covering 341 megabytes of disc space. Each image has all the information about the aircraft including date and place photographed if it was known. You will find that this disc has the aircraft listed by squadron and also includes test units and Marine units.

Like the other products of Aero Research, this one is a disc of eye candy that will be appreciated by modelers and fans of the aircraft alike. I think it is one of their better collections, but I am biased as I like the F-4. I am positive you will find to your liking. If you are a die hard Phantom Phanatic, you simply must have this one.
