I would have to guess that there are as many if not more third level commuter airliners than there are 'regular' size airliner types. These are the planes that travel to smaller air fields in communities where the capacity of a larger aircraft isn't always needed. I would have to say that includes upper level 'bush' airlines as well that do, seasonal, weekly or sometimes charter work, but mostly very short haul airlines that will fly from, say, St. Louis to Springfield IL, a short distance that one can drive in two hours.

The CD is full of neat aircraft from Beech 18s, a bewildering number of Cessnas, Twotters, Dash 7s and 8s, Doves, Jetstreams, 'death tubes', Trislanders, flying boats and a number of other interesting and colorful types.

With 384 Megabytes of images, there are 152 separate entries, each with as much information as is known about the image like the place and date the photo was taken, though not all have this information available for various reasons.

Like the other CD's these are overall portraits of these planes with image quality generally excellent, many of them taxi shots or push-back images.  It is markings that make these planes interesting and you'll find lots to pique your interest.

I know I liked it and I am equally sure that you will as well.

I would be remiss if I didn't point out that Aero Research now has a web site where their full catalog can be purchased. They are also increasing production from 8 to 12 titles a year, something I know we will all appreciate.

Thanks to Aero Research www.AeroResearchCDs.com for the review CD.
