Such was the success of their first Modeler's Guide that Aero Research has produced the book on a CD for those who would rather look at a computer screen than a book while doing their research. This makes sense for people with limited bookshelf space and so we now have this first publication on disc.

Each of the pages are in .pdf format and is exactly the same as their paper product. This CD is 108 pages and covers 35 Skyraider variants. There are 42 drawings of the various aircraft with detailed information on each one stating the differences between this one and the other variants. Since even aircraft within the same variant can be different in small details, this information is provided as well.

In addition there are 36 color and b&w photos, 13 Skyraider kit reviews and a list of aftermarket bits and decals. Towards the end is a list of serial numbers, units that flew the plane, surviving aircraft and a reference section.

I have shown a sample page so you can see how it is laid out.  I've included a single page of one aircraft to give you an idea of how things are organized. What this shows is a profile of the aircraft and those salient features that may need to be changed. Green areas are optional items that have been seen on some aircraft. Background stats are also provided.

In all, it really is an excellent reference and resource for the modeler. Its most reasonable price makes it a true bargain as well. Most highly recommended.
