This latest offering from Dataview books is on US Warships from 1865-1918. These are mostly overall photos of the ships taken from official sources and the quality of the photos are generally very good, as you can see from the cover image.

There are 100 pages in pdf format, making it easy to go through the CD. It is by no means a comprehensive look at all Naval vessels, concentrating on battleships for the most part with images of armed cruisers, submarines and a few support vessels. There are some detail images of guns and gun crews included and it does cover a number of the older ships as well.

It is a fine look at the navy of a century back and I know that modelers as well as enthusiasts will find it to be useful.
