This is an interesting idea from Kagero. As you are probably aware, Kagero is becoming well known for publishing interesting books and including decal sheets with them. This sort of puts to question whether this is a book with decals or a very well researched decal sheet!

Regardless of which it is, this is a well written and interesting Polish/English book on three Luftwaffe aces. The first, Helmut Wick,  is well known by many Luftwaffe fans. His rise to stardom was brought to a halt in November 1940 when he was shot down and killed over the English Channel. Most of the book is on Wick. Next is Fritz Losigkeit, who mainly flew FW-190A-4s with JG 1 during 1943 and later went on to the Russian Front. He survived the war. Finally, Kurt Knappe, who flew both 190s and 109s with JG 2 and JG 52. He was killed in 1943.

All three pilots amassed a credible score and their stories are both interesting and typical of what it was like to be a Luftwaffe pilot during WWII. Since markings seem to be a big draw, these are duplicated in 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72. They cover the five aircraft that are illustrated in color profiles, so you'll have a good markings guide. As with all Kagero 'book sheets', they only cover unique markings, but that shouldn't be a problem. Since there is no ready to go FW-190A-4 for the 1/32 markings, we can only hope that one will soon be on the way!

Highly recommended for the Luftwaffe fan out there.
