This is the first book I've seen of this series on Russian Aircraft in Action. Each is hardboud, 80 pages and in a 9x12 format. If you were expecting something similar to the Squadron/Signal 'In Action' series, well they are similar only in the most general sense.

The edition on the Su-25 starts with three full pages of historical back ground. This section includes short descriptions of whatever variants have been produced of the aircraft. The rest of the book is page after page of large photographs of the aircraft, most of which are in color. The photography includes all of the variations and variant that were covered in the historical forward. This is topped with two pages of profiles and a final page that includes three view drawings. The modeler will come to appreciate the book for its inclusion of close-up photos.

Overall it is a very nice presentation and while there are some improvements that I'd like to see (such as drawings depicting the differences in variants and profiles of non-Russian aircraft), the book left me with a very positive impression. I think that you will be equally impressed and should seek this one out. It is a book that I can recommend to both the historian and the modeler alike.
