This particular sheet from Caracal Models is for the big Kitty Hawk 1/32 T-6. In this case, the sheet provides markings for four all yellow SNJs. I have to assume that the Navy never took on charge any types similar to the T-6G so these will have the older canopy and will not have the nav aids added to the USAF version. Most of these are with Naval Reserve units, hence the orange band on the rear fuselage. This band will need to be painted, but is easy enough to do. These are either SNJ-5 or SNJ-6 aircraft.

The first option is from NAS Barin Field, Alabama in 1954. The notes state that this plane was equipped with a tail hook.

Next is a plane from NAS Memphis. This is where your editor went for avionics training back in the semi-dark ages.

Third option is one from NAS New York. Note that this and the next option have nose numbers that fit over the cooler intake on the side. There are two numbers provided for this. The first goes on then the intake is attached and the second decal placed over it.

The final option is from NAS St. Louis, which I guess was at Lambert Field as it had closed before I moved here in the late 1950s.

The markings are printed by Cartograf with enough insignia and data markings to do one aircraft, though you can always use kit markings if you wish to do more than one from the sheet.

The sheet should be well received and will add something a bit different to your next Texan build.
