Notes:

Six options

Here is another super Vietnam War F-4 sheet from Furball Aero-Design. This particular sheet is for very early war Phantoms when the USAF F-4Cs were still painted in the Navy colors of light gull grey over white. Note that the light gull grey is matte and the white is gloss. These are all from the 1965/early 1966 time period as those planes in country later than that were either painted over locally, or came from the states already in the SEA camouflage. Note that some of these options still have the 'buzz numbers' on them and those that do not have that area overpainted in slightly darker light gull grey. All of the options have the area around and just forward of the spine refueling port painted in international orange, though some may have also been da-glo.

The first option is 64-0693 with the 45th TFS at Ubon AB in 1965. This plane, like the next option has a red tipped wing tank.

Next is 64-0679, also with the 45th at Ubon. Like the previous otion, there are mission markings painted on the splitter plate.

Third is 64-0676 with the 12th TFW at Cam Rahn AB in 1966. This has a huge shark painted on the outside of the wing tanks. It also sports a Kill marking.

Also with the 12th TFW is 63-7569, also with a long mission scoreboard.

The fifth option is 63-7664 from the 479 TFS/8 TFW at Ubon in 1965. It three red stripes on each of the wing fuel tanks.

Finally, a 433rd TFS/8th TFW plane, 63-7656 also from Ubon in 1965. This one has quite a few markings on the wing fuel tanks and like the previous option, has the buzz numbers in place.

Note that not all the above listings totally match the cover sheet as I went by the order given on the placement guide. The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf and the sheet come with a large load out diagram and stencil placement marking guide.

Common markings are available for two planes though you can probably also glean what you need from the donor kit. These markings are sized for the Academy kit, but I'm betting most of the markings will fit kits from Hasegawa or Monogram should you choose those.
