would have thought that this subject would have been fully covered, but from
what I can see, this is one of the first full sheets for the First Air Commando
Group, made famous in 'Terry and the Pirates'. This is for the Accurate
Miniatures P-51A kit. All options are in Olive Drab over Neutral grey with bare
metal spinners. Markings are supplied for two options if you choose wisely.
Your options are 'Carol's Daddy' from the Broadway Strip in Burma during 1943. This one has red surround insignia. Next is 'Mrs.Virginia' from Hailakanada, India in 1943. Finally, the boss' plane for Phillip Cochrane. This one would probably be kept in better shape than the others.
The modeler will have to paint the upper fin tip.
