NOTES:

Every year, Wolfpak Decals offers a free sheet for making a minimum purchase, which is usually three decal sheets. This year is no exception and we have four somewhat different USAF types on this sheet.

The first option is an experimental scheme painted on an F-15C based with the 57th FWW at Nellis AFB in 1986. This interesting scheme is a test scheme for the F-15E which was eventually rejected in favor of overall gunship grey.

Next up is an A-10A with the 355th TFW at Davis Mothnan AFB in 1976. This has an overall light ghost grey camouflage scheme and rather large codes and serials on the fin. This aircraft also has a black anti-glare panel.

A more recent plane is an F-16CM of the 314 FS, based at Holloman AFB. Though the parent 56 FW is at Luke AFB, this unit is detached to the 54th FG as there is excess space at Holloman after the retirement of the F-117. The 54th FG last flew the F-86L so it has been a while since it was active.

Finally, another interesting plane, an RF-101A in overall FS 34102 green. This aircraft was with the 363rd TRW at Shaw AFB in 1964.

We are fortunate that there are a number of nice kits for all these options; some old and some quite new. Whichever you choose, you can be sure that the decals are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and the sheet comes with the best background information provided by any sheet in the business. Upper camo schemes are provided for the planes that require it.  Note that the Fantasy Printshop decals are quite glossy so you may want to clear coat some of these with a matte once they have been applied.

Thanks to WolfPak Decals for the review sample. Visit them at their web site and pick up yours.
