The first cockpit set from Master Details is for the Hasegawa 1/32 family of 109s. A good choice for as nice as the kit cockpit is, it can be made better by a quality resin cockpit set, and this one is just that.

Molded in flawless tan resin, there are some very small detail parts that have been redone in pewter as there was some problem with breakage on the finer bits. No breakage problems at all with this set as it is well packaged.

The set includes a separate back piece with either a molded in seat pan and belts/pads, or one that is bare of the belts and pads so you can add your own should you wish. Very nice to have this option as frequently builders will want to add their own belts, though some of us like having them molded in. Some cutting will have to be done to install this in place of the kit parts, but the instructions are quite extensive and provide all the necessary information on where all the bits go.

In addition to all the finely done resin and pewter pieces, there is a small acetate sheet (not shown) for you to add to the gun sight. The instructions also includes information on backdating the set if you are so inclined

The set is really superb and has to have more detail in it than any other 1/32 109 cockpit set that I've seen. I'm sure you will agree and it is a set that I can highly recommend you get for your next big scale 109 project.
