NOTES: Four figures in set

THE KIT

Seems like the various 1/35 figure companies are concentrating on Soviet figures at the moment. It is interesting to notice small trends like this and makes one wonder if it is a conscious effort or just happenstance.

This particular set from Dragon includes four figures in a variety of poses and garb. As with all Dragon figure kits, the molding is superb and comes with a plethora of weapons and equipment. These four are an officer with  binoculars in a kneeling position as well as a man on one knee with the hood of his jacket up to cover his ears from the cold. This figure has what appears to be a sniper rifle with a scope. A crouching figure with a machine gun and hard hat is next with the final figure standing and with a soft cap on his head.

Typical of figure kits like this, there are no real assembly instructions with the parts placement shown on the back of the box along with the painting guide. Dragon kits offer both Gunze and Model Master paint references.

CONCLUSIONS

Figure sets like this go a long way to enlivening a vehicle diorama or even on their own. I know that stores sell a lot of these so they are quite popular.
