NOTES:

THE KIT

One of Master Box' latest figure sets is this very nice one with British Paratroopers participating in Operation Market Garden. There are four figures in a variety of poses and uniforms with one figure being a civilian who has been out hunting hares. Now I'm not sure if the German occupiers would have allowed private weapons, but it does make for an interesting figure.

The other three figures are all wearing a camouflaged jacket with one man wearing a beret while the others have steel helmets. One soldier is holding a rilfe, another a machine gun while the helmet-less man (probably an officer) has a map and is asking directions.

There is no instruction sheet, but on the back of the box are two views of each figure showing where the parts fit and giving color information. A parts diagram is also provided so you can identify each bit. Color information is provided with Vallejo, Tamiya, Lifecolour, Humbrol and Agama references, so you should be able to find something that will work.

CONCLUSIONS

I have recently learned that there are quite a few people who like doing figure sets like this. If not for stand-alone, then together in a diorama of some sort. They definitely will add to any display, and appear to be pretty straight-forward in terms of construction and painting.
