I'm sure you have all heard it before, but it is true. If you were to do one thing to improve the look of the cockpit of a jet model, it would be to put in a replacement ejection seat. Kit seats are often quite generic looking and cannot provide the sort of detail that one gets with a resin replacement.

Nothing is more true than those seats provided in Hasegawa 1/72 F-18A/B kits and these seats, while not specifically mentioned as going in these kits, is what you will need. Others do provide seats, but these by Verlinden are very nicely molded and generally easier to find than others. Verlinden provides a pair of photos of the fully painted seats as a guide. Break out the magnifying lenses when doing this one!
